Just like with dark souls, I feel like being brave and getting up close and personal is the way to go.

Great work on this! The combat feels really great, and the bullets are just the right speed.

I wasn't sure what the color difference with the bullets meant initially. Figured out the green one at first, but missed what the blue ones meant.

Thanks for playing!!

The blue bullets are nothing special, they're just unblockable and need to be dodged. I have an NPC in there that explains it but talking to her is optional and she is very easy to miss!

Very cool game, intuitive combat, and a very cool retro style!

Thanks for playing, glad you liked it!

Addictive and fast gameplay with cool ability building!

This is my playthrough of the game. I loved the chonky pixel graphics and the 8 bit sound. Lots of nostalgia but the addition of transparency with the fog and fading text makes it feel modern. The controls are reminicent of your old atari games but are polished somewhat for the modern era. It took me a couple plays to get it down but the gameplay became addictive after that. The leveling up mechanic and the mix of bullhell treatment made it fun to go back to bosses with upgraded ability. It feels great to take down a boss quickly once you get your bearings. The game gets under your skin, surprisingly addictive. Felt like it was over really quick and I was hoping for more. Excited to see where the developer takes this and expands on the already great start.
